I went in nervous about something growing on the skin of my right leg. The staff was very polite, helpful, and professional. They put me at ease and helped me through the procedure. I would recommend them to everyone.
They got me in quickly for my appointment. Dr. Philomina was so caring and kind. She was very thorough in checking my skin. And explained all my skin issues. Very personable.
I'm rather upset. I went to a consult and she recommended me to take tretinoin .05%. I wanted to do some research so I didn't purchase it right then and there she told me to be about $100. It took me about 2 days to do my research and I wanted to purchase it they had no more left in stock so they talked me into ordering online. I said it would be a little bit more but it should be there in a few days. Well after checking out it totaled to $122. $10 with shipping and handling. I ordered this on the 13th and it still hasn't arrived. I have called four times trying to figure out where my package is at because I was excited to start using the product. I keep getting told that I'm going to get a call or to figure out what's going on and I hear nothing. Today was the last straw I was supposed to get a call this morning and I have yet to receive one when I called the girl is supposedly on lunch but it's 3:00 pm. I spent $122 on a product that I have yet to receive and no one seems to care. It's really frustrating especially since I started doing some research and found that I can get this in a bigger container for way cheaper somewhere else. I just want the product that I ordered or my money back. It's just overall frustrating because I was really excited to start using this product to see a difference and now I'm going on 10 days.Update 9/24/24 4:35pmCalled again at 4:13 pm they were going to try to transfer me over but can guarantee that anybody at my home office would be able to answer the phone. I told him straight up no that they need to get me somebody so that I can talk to them. The lady that answered stated that she tried to call me but it went straight to a busy signal twice but I've received multiple phone calls so my phone has been working. They're supposed to be going to send one out tonight priority mail with a tracking number. We will see if I get it.
I was seen following being hit by a semi truck . Various injuries were sustained including air bag burns. I was able to get an appointment quickly and received excellent care by a very compassionate and thorough doctor “Phil”, and support staff. The doctor even called me personally to notify me of a change to my prescription medication. I will be returning in two weeks and am confident in the care I shall receive. Staff and doctor are knowledgeable, kind and friendly which makes a difference in one’s experience.My daughter was also seen prior and received the utmost care. I would highly recommend this practice.
My doctor was very thorough with the examination and gave me suggestions that I didn’t know about. This was very helpful.
Casey was awesome! She took the time to listen to everything I had to say and asked important questions about my routine and made honest and helpful suggestions to improve my routine. She is also straight to the point and is honest with you about your acne journey which I appreciated! I can’t wait to see my results 🙂
There are several dermatologist within five blocks of this place! Pick a dermatologist that knows what they’re doing!

The front office staff are very polite and inviting. Meeting Dr. Philomena for the first time was an awesome experience. She was so kind and attentive and didn't make my silly little questions/ concerns I had feel insignificant. She listens well and explains things well. I will definitely recommend her & the Yuba City office to my family.

Dr. Phil was so great! She made me feel at ease right away. She kept all procedures quick and as painless as possible. I barely even felt the lidocaine injections. The nurses and office assistants are kind and caring. I will be coming back and recommending The Berman Skin Institute!

I cannot stress enough how pleased I am with my experience. I made an appointment for Botox with Philomema. She is just wonderful! She listened to what my concerns were with my forehead lines and she fixed me right up and she was so gentle. It was not painful at all!!! It has been 3 days since my procedure and people have noticed the difference in my appearance! I have been getting so many compliments on how nice and smooth my forehead is. My wife and I go to Berman in Yuba City California. We really like them, they are always on time and do a very thorough job. They have found skin cancer on me 3 times when I never thought would be cancer and once on my wife. We both ended up with surgeries and their recommended surgeons were excellent. You are never made to feel awkward about any issue you bring to their attention, and attention is what they give you. We always feel very welcome and they have never pushed any products or services on us. I cannot say enough about how wonderful you are treated here. If you must travel out of your way to get here you won't be disappointed.
