The office was clean and organized. The office receptionist was very friendly, nice and kind. The medical assistant was also nice and friendly.However, the NP, Nancy was absolutely not what I would expect from a professional practitioner.She was cold, unfriendly, condescending, and very snobbish. She was definitely not approachable and completely not compassionate, basically left a lot to be desired.I hope my review will help her to try to understand patients and be more empathetic.

May has has always done a great job. She’s thorough and found a cancerous spot on my head that the VA had simply been freezing every 6 months even though it wasn’t heating. I ended up needing MOHS surgery that could have been avoided if the VA had done their job properly.
Went in for acne, consultation took overall about 5 minutes and she didn’t even look at my skin just went straight to prescriptions, that was about 3 months ago.I’ve NEVER received my acne prescription and still don’t have it, I’ve called both my pharmacy which they stated it was never sent and the clinic which they’ve told me to call my pharmacy instead of just sending it out again.I also paid a co pay of 35 dollars my first visit but now keep getting sent a bill of 14? Have no clue where that came from but this clinic doesn’t seem to care.

Took me even early. Dr. May Chhun examined my entire body for abnormal growths. All looking good. I see her every 6 months for this checkup. She has a very keen eye, is thorough in her exam, knowledgeable, and very kind. I followed her to her new location in Roseville. One of my best doctors.
From the second the nurse practitioner stepped into the exam room I had the feeling I was really badly bothering her. I told her I caught a glimpse of new spots on my back in the mirror. I said since they were on my back I could not make them out very well and they may be nothing at all. I had previously had skin cancer removed twice by surgery I told her so I was concerned. She touched spots on my back three times and asked if I was concerned about them. Each time I answered since I couldn’t see them I was concerned about all of them. I didn’t know what part of I couldn’t see them she didn’t understand. She then sprayed two of the spots with something. I asked why she was doing this and I received an answer I did not understand but I thought best not to ask for a better explanation.I then pointed out a spot on my chin that I thought started as an ingrown hair from using an electric razor. She said she needed to biopsy it which I was grateful for. She said I would get results in ten days. This seemed extremely long in this day and age.She then asked if I wanted her to schedule a complete body exam. I thought a dermatologist would do this as part of any new patient exam especially one with a history of skin cancer. I did have a concern about a condition on my legs. I guess she needed to get to the patients in the empty waiting room to do a body exam.You decide if you want to be treated at this facility. It was a terrible experience for me. She really doesn’t want to be bothered anyway.

Went in for a preventative skin exam, which is 100% covered under our ins plan. Was in and out in 5 minutes with no issues discovered. A month later, I received a bill from them for "lesion removal" and other charges. No lesion was removed, and no other procedure was done. The only time the physicians asst touched me was to look through my scalp. I assumed that a innocent mistake was made so I contacted them to let them know that their billing was incorrect. They said that they'd call me back. Never did. I called them again the next month and this time they said that they would not correct the billing. Either they are reckless with their billing, or they are adding codes to their billing to increase profits.

Kyla is AMAZING!! She is so gentle with her hands and I have never had any bruises from her excellent work. She is also extremely knowledgable and is an incredible injector. I let her know that I get anxious at times when I'm having a procedure done, and she put me completely at ease and asked throughout if I was comfortable and doing okay. I have had botox and fillers by Kyla and I couldn’t be more pleased with the results. The office was clean and all of the staff were very friendly and professional. I have sent my friends and co-workers here knowing they are in the best hands.
Everyone who works there is really nice so that was definitely a plus. That said, I wasn’t impressed with their service overall. I went in specifically for treatment for acne and acne scars. Each appointment I had there was always something that went wrong whether it was giving me wrong numbing cream, incorrect medication prior to treatment, or one of their tools not actually working. I wouldn’t recommend especially at this price point, I think you can find better service elsewhere.
I've had multiple appointments at this Roseville location. To start, parking is easily available, and the building restroom is always clean. All staff have been prompt, polite and welcoming. A courtesy beverage dispensing machine helps to make the lobby comfortable, but any wait has been short. May, my treatment PA seems to know her stuff and takes care to accurately apply treatment only where needed.

I called to set an appointment and was able to schedule it for 3 days later. I showed up a half hour early and they saw me immediately and went to work on my skin issues without making me wait or come back where most physicians and institutions tend to maximize their income by making you wait and doing very little with many visits. I didn't expect the prompt care I received. I feel my needs were met by an experienced staff that didn't waste any time and knew exactly what was best for me. My entire visit took 45 minutes and I received treatment that I thought would have taken 3 or 4 visits. Nancy Cote was great. I'm very impressed!
The Customer service is great. The people are kind and caring. They answered the phone right away, answered all my questions and guided me through the online process. The Nurse Kyla was very understanding and walked me through procedure & pricing. Great office!!! Ferrari level service, incredible results (6x head mole removal) and the nurses and staff are some of the best I have ever dealt with in a medical capacity. I had an appointment with Dr. Chuun. I have a really busy schedule. I found an appointment in a few days. I kept reading about what was going to happen. I kept reading about the different procedures.She was very nice and put me at ease. Dr. Chhun was very professional and kept asking me about my level of pain. I told her I was fine and would let her know if it hurt. I am happy I found a patient dermatologist that I feel actually cared about my level of pain.I am very happy with the service I was provided. I am happy with the cost. I wasn’t really sure about the cost so I called before.Everyone was very nice. I would recommend filling out the paperwork beforehand. I thought I did but there was something I didn’t fill out.Good experience, affordable, friendly staff. what more could I ask for? Highly recommend coming here.
I had an appointment for a full body exam and mole removal. The doctor seemed rushed and didn’t do a full body exam; I had to keep asking her to check individual moles. I had one mole removed and in total it was around $300 with insurance. Overall not impressed.

Incompetent staff that lie about fees and will overcharge you. Please spend your insurance on any other place. To be specific, 700 dollars charged for a mole removal after the doctor said it's 100!.. Why would they lie once I was in the office then charge my insurance an enormous amount. They are greedy rich lying people.

My NP's knowledge and demeanor made me feel confident in her expertise and abilities. She was open to questions, kept me informed of each step of the procedure, and made sure I knew what to expect afterwards. Her Medical Assistant was also very knowledgeable and professional.
I struggled with very bad cystic acne after leaving for college. I started an antibiotic and got it under control, but still had lots underground scarring. I heard about cortisone injections for scars, and scheduled a consultation and appointment with Berman Skin to get it done. After the first round, there was still noticeable scarring, so scheduled a second round, this resulted in significant indentation and atrophy. I really wish that the injector would have warned me of the side effects and offered a different solution. My skin before the injections and atrophy honestly looked better than it does now.
for over 9 months I had a rash on my foot. It would itch so bad if touched. Doctors kept on saying it was fungal and trying different creams with no relief. I was finally referred to Berman Skin Institute, who determined it was not fungal in about 2 minutes. Day three of treatments and the infected area no longer itches and the rash is disappearing. So relieved and thankful.
Truly can't say enough. I've dealt with a skin issue for nearly 40 years and treatment has always been painstaking to get approved and started. I was seen on a Friday and treated started Monday. Dr. May Chhun is very compassionate, patience, and knowledgeable. Happy to have found this office!
