May has has always done a great job. She’s thorough and found a cancerous spot on my head that the VA had simply been freezing every 6 months even though it wasn’t heating. I ended up needing MOHS surgery that could have been avoided if the VA had done their job properly.

Kyla is AMAZING!! She is so gentle with her hands and I have never had any bruises from her excellent work. She is also extremely knowledgable and is an incredible injector. I let her know that I get anxious at times when I'm having a procedure done, and she put me completely at ease and asked throughout if I was comfortable and doing okay. I have had botox and fillers by Kyla and I couldn’t be more pleased with the results. The office was clean and all of the staff were very friendly and professional. I have sent my friends and co-workers here knowing they are in the best hands.
I've had multiple appointments at this Roseville location. To start, parking is easily available, and the building restroom is always clean. All staff have been prompt, polite and welcoming. A courtesy beverage dispensing machine helps to make the lobby comfortable, but any wait has been short. May, my treatment PA seems to know her stuff and takes care to accurately apply treatment only where needed.

Kyla makes hair removal tolerable! She is very professional, and understands it can be scary. She has the ability to calm you and get the job done.
I called to set an appointment and was able to schedule it for 3 days later. I showed up a half hour early and they saw me immediately and went to work on my skin issues without making me wait or come back where most physicians and institutions tend to maximize their income by making you wait and doing very little with many visits. I didn't expect the prompt care I received. I feel my needs were met by an experienced staff that didn't waste any time and knew exactly what was best for me. My entire visit took 45 minutes and I received treatment that I thought would have taken 3 or 4 visits. Nancy Cote was great. I'm very impressed!
The Customer service is great. The people are kind and caring. They answered the phone right away, answered all my questions and guided me through the online process. The Nurse Kyla was very understanding and walked me through procedure & pricing. Great office!!! They didn't try to push the procedure, said go home and do research to make sure this is what I want to do.

Ferrari level service, incredible results (6x head mole removal) and the nurses and staff are some of the best I have ever dealt with in a medical capacity. Nancy, is likely the best Nurse Practitioner I have ever come into contact with, and after 2 appts I consider her as friend, and an amazing human too. Very rare, but if I could give 10 stars, I would. Look no further than my reviews, this is likely the best of them all. A++++

I had an appointment with Dr. Chuun. I have a really busy schedule. I found an appointment in a few days. I kept reading about what was going to happen. I kept reading about the different procedures.
She was very nice and put me at ease. Dr. Chhun was very professional and kept asking me about my level of pain. I told her I was fine and would let her know if it hurt. I am happy I found a patient dermatologist that I feel actually cared about my level of pain.

I had an appointment for a full body exam and mole removal. The doctor seemed rushed and didn’t do a full body exam; I had to keep asking her to check individual moles. I had one mole removed and in total it was around $300 with insurance. Overall not impressed.
I love Berman skin institute. They all are very friendly and nice. It's a very good and relaxing place. I usually get stressed when I go to a dermatology office. This office makes me very comfortable. The doctor is very nice. And also the lady who asked about my issue is an angel. Unfortunately I don't know her name. I really appreciate it.

Incompetent staff that lie about fees and will overcharge you. Please spend your insurance on any other place. To be specific, 700 dollars charged for a mole removal after the doctor said it's 100!.. Why would they lie once I was in the office then charge my insurance an enormous amount. They are greedy rich lying people.

Each person I encountered at Berman Skin Institute was welcoming and friendly. The front desk staff went out of their way to help me with my paperwork issues. My NP's knowledge and demeanor made me feel confident in her expertise and abilities. She was open to questions, kept me informed of each step of the procedure, and made sure I knew what to expect afterwards. Her Medical Assistant was also very knowledgeable and professional.
I struggled with very bad cystic acne after leaving for college. I started an antibiotic and got it under control, but still had lots underground scarring. I heard about cortisone injections for scars, and scheduled a consultation and appointment with Berman Skin to get it done. After the first round, there was still noticeable scarring, so scheduled a second round, this resulted in significant indentation and atrophy. I really wish that the injector would have warned me of the side effects and offered a different solution. My skin before the injections and atrophy honestly looked better than it does now.
for over 9 months I had a rash on my foot. It would itch so bad if touched. Doctors kept on saying it was fungal and trying different creams with no relief. I was finally referred to Berman Skin Institute, who determined it was not fungal in about 2 minutes. Day three of treatments and the infected area no longer itches and the rash is disappearing. So relieved and thankful.
Truly can't say enough. I've dealt with a skin issue for nearly 40 years and treatment has always been painstaking to get approved and started. I was seen on a Friday and treated started Monday. Dr. May Chhun is very compassionate, patience, and knowledgeable. Happy to have found this office!

I had the CoolSculpt treatment. The office was very professional and made sure I was comfortable during the long process. They explained how things work and what typical results are, very informative. I just returned for my final photos and am very pleased with the results which occurred over the past 3-4 months. Cosmetic consultations are free of charge. For non-cosmetic consultations, dermatology visits, dermatology procedures, etc we can bill your PPO insurance. We will collect your co-pay at the time of the visit. Once the insurance company processes the payment we will send you a bill for any deductibles or co-insurance amounts that may be due.
Our office is contracted with most PPO insurance plans and a few HMOs. Most medically necessary procedures are billable to your insurance company. Some procedures require prior authorization from your insurance company before we can perform the procedure. At the time of your visit, your provider will let you know if we need to obtain authorization prior to treatment.
