Dr. Chiang takes pride in being a friendly dermatologist who respects every patient. He promises to answer all questions to the best of modern dermatology knowledge.
He has two areas of special expertise. One is in hair, having conducted clinical research in hair at University of California San Francisco. Dr. Chiang sees patients for medical hair loss visits and also offers cosmetic platelet rich plasma injections, especially for patients with male or female pattern hair thinning. His second area of special expertise is psoriasis. Dr. Chiang was a psoriasis research fellow at the UCSF Psoriasis and Skin Treatment Center and is well experienced in psoriasis treatments, including both orals and biologic injectables. Dr. Chiang has authored and co-authored numerous publications in leading dermatology journals.
Dr. Chiang is experienced in skin cancer examinations, acne, eczema, hair loss disorders, and psoriasis.
Beyond dermatology, Dr. Chiang’s main interest is spending time with his family and young son.
